Dr. Kyle Chaw earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific and completed a one-year General Practice Residency in a New York City hospital, where he gained extensive experience in oral surgery, emergency dentistry, and complex restorative treatment. That hospital training gives him a depth of clinical experience that benefits patients every day.
He provides a full range of services, including dental implants, clear aligners, cosmetic veneers, teeth whitening, dentures, and care for the whole family. He has significant expertise in placing and restoring dental implants. For specialized procedures such as wisdom tooth surgery, he refers patients to trusted local specialists and coordinates that care personally, so your treatment always stays on track.
A philosophy built on communication and trust
Dr. Chaw believes great dentistry starts with communication and education. He takes time to explain his findings, review all of your treatment options, and make sure you feel informed and confident in your decisions. His approach focuses on treating the whole person, emphasizing how oral health connects to your overall health and well-being. Patients consistently describe him as gentle, thorough, and easy to talk to.
Rooted in service to the community
Community service has always been important to Dr. Chaw. He has participated in a dental mission trip to Mexico, providing care to underserved communities, and has volunteered at local outreach events, health fairs, and mentorship programs focused on preventive education for children. At Fair Oaks Village Dental, he continues that spirit of service by caring for his Fair Oaks neighbors the way healthcare should be: personal, patient, and genuine.
Beyond the office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chaw enjoys playing electric guitar, weightlifting, hiking, golfing, and seeking out new taco spots. His background is as varied as his interests, including time as a concertmaster violinist, a varsity football wide receiver, a track and field athlete, and a certified black belt. That discipline and attention to detail carry directly into the care he provides.
