Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We welcome new patients of all ages. You can request an appointment online or call us at (916) 961-3760, and our team will help you get scheduled.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit typically includes a comprehensive exam, any necessary digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and often a cleaning. Dr. Chaw will review your oral health, answer your questions, and discuss any recommended treatment, with no pressure.
What insurance do you accept?
We work with a wide range of PPO dental insurance plans. Our front office is happy to help you understand your benefits before treatment. Call us with your plan details and we'll walk you through your coverage.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
No insurance is no problem. We accept all major credit cards and offer CareCredit financing with flexible payment plans, so you can get the care you need and pay over time.
How often should I see the dentist?
Most patients do best with a cleaning and exam every six months. If you have specific concerns such as gum disease, we may recommend a different schedule tailored to your needs.
I'm nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Absolutely. Many of our patients came to us anxious and now feel completely at ease. We take time to explain everything, go at your pace, and use gentle techniques. Just let us know your concerns and we'll take great care of you.
Do you see children?
Yes, we're a family-friendly practice and love caring for kids. Early, positive dental experiences help children build healthy habits for life.
What do I do in a dental emergency?
Call us right away at (916) 961-3760. We make every effort to see emergency patients promptly. For life-threatening symptoms such as difficulty breathing or swallowing, severe swelling, or major facial trauma, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We're at 10231 Fair Oaks Blvd in the heart of Fair Oaks Village, CA 95628. We're open Monday through Wednesday 8 AM to 5 PM and Thursday 7 AM to 2 PM, and closed Friday through Sunday.
Does Dr. Chaw place dental implants?
Yes. Dr. Chaw both places and restores dental implants, a service many general dentists refer out. That means more of your implant care can happen in one familiar office.
